Our Home was finished being built in December of 2007. We are the first tenants to occupy the home and have enjoyed it very much. It is nice living in the country, where it is quiet and dark in the evenings, and you can pretty much do as you please all the time. The home is 1805 sq. ft consisting of 4 bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The home has been maintained very well, always had air filters replaced monthly, all yard maintaince completed routinely, interior kept very clean, no dirty animals in the home, only two small chihuahuas. There is a large two-car garage with a seperate storage room, as well as a huge storage area in the attic over the garage. The home has central heat/air, i believe it is a heat pump! All appliances are stainless steel! It has a full home security system. as well as wiring for phone/cable in every room! There are ceiling fans in every room, except kitchen, including the master bathroom. The home is tiled throughout the common areas and kitchen, bathrooms, laundry. The bedrooms are carpet. The living room is dark hardwood flooring! The property sits on 1.5 acres, so there is a decent size lot in the back. I mulched a 1/6 mile running trail as well as a small dirt bike trail for the kids. For the ladies there is a whirpool tub, as well as his and hers walk in closets/his and hers sinks. The home has a well with excellent tasting water, as well as septic, so there are no sewer or water bills. The entire home is electric, so only electric, and trash utilities. The home is already setup for hughesnet, as well as satellite cable, and DSL internet. There are two options for schooling. The home has a hartford address, but sits in Geneva county outside the city limit, so children may attend either school. The hartford school bus comes by the home. Our children attend the Geneva elementary school about 12 miles away because my wife works there and we have had no issues to speak off. Very professional, and military friendly! As far as my transit to Ft. Rucker. I work at Cairns AAF, which is just a few miles south of Rucker in daleville. My drive to work is around 23 miles. My drive consists of beautiful back country roads with no traffic to speak of! Not uncommon for me to pass 3-4 cars total on my way to work. Many of my co-workers travel times from north enterprise/dothan/etc. are the same due to traffic. I HATE traffic! Another nice thing about our home, is we are 5 miles from the florida line, 65 miles/1hr to panama city beach. Last thing about our home. This is a vitally important aspect of living here for us. We wondered why we decided to buy out here, but we know it was because this is where God wanted us for these past few years. We have always been practicing non-denominational Christians! 5 miles from our home is an amazing Methodist church family. We have been blessed beyond words to be apart of one of the most amazingly authentic group of Christians I have ever seen. They welcomed us into their church/homes/lives without hesitation and have shown us an amazing example of Christs love. I can honestly say I have never experienced brotherly love like exists among these people, they truly encompass the neighborly/Agape love of God! I hope you are blessed as much as we have been, wherever you decide to settle down! God Bless!Matt Hansen...
