We are proud to be celebrating our 60th anniversary as of January 2010. Clyde H. Townsend started his first venture into the motorcycle business in Dothan, Alabama in 1950 bringing with him a true enthusiasm for the sport. In 1975, Don Owens joined the business keeping it in the family. Honda was taken on in 1962, which was the beginning of Honda of Dothan.The store has since added Yamaha, Suzuki, Polaris, and Victory. With five product lines it was decided to change our name in 1996 from Honda of Dothan to Dothan Powersports. ( pictured below is Don H. Owens & Clyde H Townsend ) We strive to provide our customers with the very best in service, products, and people at the best possible price. Dothan Powersports has grown to become one of the leading powersports dealers in the southeast. We outgrew our old location at 1760 Ross Clark Circle and are now in our new 22, 200 square foot facility, as seen above, at 2003 Ross Clark Circle which is only one mile west of our old location.\n\nMotorcycles, Water Craft, Waverunners

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE TO THESE PEOPLE. Took my bike in for servicing and they either put in the wrong oil filter or it malfunctioned. When the bike over heated and I brought it back in they said nothing was wrong with it. When I drove the…
